Good Thursday morning everyone. today is the day that the social studies projects are due, YEAH!






Last night I went to dinner awesome friends for my birthday. We do not usually get to go out for my birthday until the end of June. But I lucked out this year and got to celebrate it exactly one week from the actual day. My friend gave me a layered gift bag and three of the layers I am wearing, the two shirts and the bracelets in the picture under the camera. Say hi Julia. While in the mall we went here, here, and ate here. What a lot of fun, thanks girls.

The day after Memorial Day.

We hope you all had a nice Memorial Day weekend. We had a BBQ with friends. The kids had a great time swimming, playing ball, blowing bubbles and drawing with chalk. Good food was had by all.

So today Jayne and I bought some flowers to fill our pots with. She did all the heavy lifting and digging. Have a good one.

Yes this is a post about my birthday, today. This was my favorite birthday memory. I can remember wanting to wear that awesome hat and the carousel cake was made my Grandmother Layhee. Do not remember what we had to eat but the best part was the cake anyway.

First RCC poto shot.

This weekend Diana and I went to our first RCC workshop. The subjects were some beautiful blossoms in one of the members garden. The photographers in this group were very friendly and helpful. We were given tips that were very useful in taking some nice photos. These are two of my favorites.

The kids are busy as usual with baseball and soccer. Doing some major end of the year school and getting some time for scrapping. Will post a couple of pages tomorrow I hope.

One project completed!!

James and I completed his science fair project last night. He brought it into school this morning. One down and one social studies project to go and a lot of books to read and tests coming up this Friday in language arts and science. Hopefully we will make it.

Guess where we were!

Here we are at the Martha Stewart show!!!!!!
We had such a good time. She is kicking off her scrapbook line of products at Michaels Craft stores. It was an early morning but it was worth it. Our prizes were a mini HP photo printer, and four of the punches from her line. We were also the first ones in the studio and if you watch the episode you will see us in the second row just about every time the audience is shown on camera!!! We were stars.
